Another new band from Uber Producer, Danger Mouse with the lead singer/guitarist of The Shins, James Mercer. When I heard the 1st single, “The High Road”....I was in. So I downloaded the album and U need 2 download the special deluxe album from iTunes. Then U need 2 pick (from the digital book), “Play Album with Visualizer”.......FCVKn AWESUM! You Say Party! We Say Die! (LiVE!) @ECHOPLEx

....I am walkin in2 this concert not knowin what 2 Xpect from You Say Party! We Say Die!. I bought there album "XXXX" and it's really really GOOD! a MUST! It has a very 80s dance rock feel w/a twist. I LiKE. Also, 1 of the members in the band went 2 jail or sumthin and can not go out of the country 2 tour but I guess he did good and here they R in L.A. AWESUM! So I walked in2 the ECHOPLEx and it was only 50 people and very young. It felt if I was on set 4 Gossip Girl. Why do girls bring those huge purses 2 a concert? I just don't get that. It's in the way. So the openin act ( Little Red Radio ) was.....oh god....NEXT! I just love bands that SUX say crazy $H*T 2 the crowd. This band told us "If we do not move, we SUX!". okay. isn't that the othr way around. So of course i pulled out my phone and started texting. Now sux on that...........the 2nd openin act was, WHiTE.ARROWs. I was not crazy about them until the 3rd song and I was in. Then when they played the 4th song I was, "I have that song!". I tell U.....But the good thing....they played a AWESUM cover 2 a Bruce Springsteen......it was....REALLY REALLY GOOD. They told us that they had demos 2 give away and I went 2 the booth after they got off but there was no sign of the demos they where talkin about. DAM! But look in2 WHiTE.ARROWs.....there is sumthin there. I felt it and they R from CANADA just like the headliners...........Now we cum 2; You Say Party! We Say Die!. What can I say but.....they where FCVKn AWESUM! I wood C them again in a heartbeat. Every1 in the band had there own style (which I love). The Guitarist looks like he is still holdin on 2 the 90s grunge look. The Bass Player was in black. The Drummer was 2 hard 4 me 2 C so I have no idea what he was wearin but he sure was the 1 talkin 2 us and crackin jokes. The Keyboardist, she looks like a secretary from the 50s and the Lead Singer reminded me of a young Jane Wiedlin (from the Go Go's) w/her short cute perm hair wearin 8inch hole Dr. Martins. LOVE iT! They even played my song and they had me singin 2 it; "Laura Palmer's Prom". ROCK ON!

The album is out aftr a couple of EP’s and U know what? It’s not bad at all. Victoria Hesketh (real name) has proven herself and that U need 2 look out 4 her. Her live shows have gotten bettr w/out dancers. Annie should get sum tips from her or eithr work w/HOT.CHiP. Yup, Joe Goddard help produced this album. So download this album from iTunes and U get a nice package. So put Ur HANDS on this MUST HAVE ALBUM!

....Who the FCVK is CLASS.ACTRESS? where is FAN.DEATH.? Man. Here we go again. I was hoping 2 catch FAN.DEATH since I missed them in NYC last time I was there. $H*T! Oh well. next time. I liked the beats 2 CLASS.ACTRESS......BUT.....was not crazy about the lead singer. She was tryin 2 B sexy but it was not working. If U R gonna just show us Ur shoulder non-stop.....just get off the stage. This is a concert....not a striptease. Let's C what DRAGONETTE has in-store 4 us. I hope they R bettr then this and the special guest DJ they have here. MASH-UP?!?!?!.....is THAT still in!?!?!? wow. Where is the .45.........DRAGONETTE was not what I Xpected. Now I know why I did not buy the album 2yrs ago. DAM. @least she had a cute hair-do. NEXT! I went 2 C the shirts and I was still not crazy about the collection LiTTLE.BOOTs had. I did like DRAGONETTE's shirts but i was not goin 2 fork over sum $$. Nope. another mash-up?!?!!?! kill me now. I am tryin so hard 2 remember if he played a good song.....but....not really........okay.....If any1 is goin 2 COACHELLa this year.....U gotta go checkout LiTTLE.BOOTs. She topped the show from last year. SHE FCVKn TOPPED iT! She had lazers, 3 different out-fit changes, a back-drop w/her name and that cool gadget; TENORi-ON. Love that musical instrument. I am surprise I have not seen any1 else use it Bside her.....yet. I donot know if my ears R shot but I could not make what she was sayin.....(when she spoke 2 us).....I was lost on evry word that was cumin out of her mouth. I wood of loved 2 have heard what she was sayin 2 us. So....I am tellin U now.....do not miss this show.....U wood not B disappointed. They cum out lookin like monks on the 1st song.....AND.....she use's the lazers on a song (EARTHQUAKE) as a keyboard.....watch out....GAGA. U bettr not take that......

Lightspeed Champion "Life is Sweet! Nice to Meet You"

It’s so crazy that Devonte Hynes (singer of Lightspeed Champion) came from this hardcore dance-punk band called; Test Icicles (R.I.P.) and changed his style to a more folky sound. When I 1st heard that, I was.....okay.....how is that gonna work, because he has a strong voice. Then “Falling off the Lavender Bridge” came out and I was......IN! Once again, He brings it again on his new album “Life is Sweet! Nice to Meet You”. Very folky but with a Broadway twist (is it because he is living in NYCity?). It has this kind of showtune kind of sound 2 sum of the songs. MayB thats what he wants to do next and he should. He is a talented guy. So.....check out the album because Dev is not goin anywhere any time soon. Unless he moves again to another country.

HOLLY $H*T! This is...........AWESUM!

When I 1st heard of Holly Miranda was when she open up 4 The.xx & Friendly Fires @CASBAH (San Diego, CA) last year. At 1st I was not so crazy about her until the 3rd song on her set and I was in. So I looked her up and downloaded, “Nobody Sees Me Like You Do” (very Bjork style song. A MUST DOWNLOAD) and fell in love w/her. I was super Xcited when I heard she was workin w/Uber indie producer; Dave Sitek (Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Liars and TV on the Radio). This is a perfect album 2 play after a late nite out on the town dancin. Very chill and relaxin. Now go buy sum candles w/this album (The Magician's Private Library).

DAN.BLACK (LiVE!) @CineSpace (Los Angeles, CA)

.....It's almost 11 o'clock and there was a so so line 2 get in. Only 5 people ahead of me and it took 15 minutes 2 get in. The person in front of me kept bendin over and U can C his HAIRY crack A$$. Cum on now......shave that $H*T! or hike that underwear up high. NASTY! I go inside after big top Pee-Wee (The guest list/line monitor guy had a big top hat.....very circus like) let me in and there was only 50 people inside. of course. 2 top it off. No 1 can go 2 the main room so we had 2 wait by the bar/DJ booth. I cannot Believe they played "Short Dick Man" but the censored version......wha? why play that song if it does not say "SHORT DICK MAN". It only said "Short Man". R U kiddin me?!?!?!?!? What the FCVK! And.....do they really card girls here? they look kind of.....young 2 me. Hum. The main room is open. nice........It's 12 sumthin and the 1st band went on and they tried 2 B funny by sayin " we R Taylor Swift". R U really? The joke feel flat just like there per4mance. They sucked A$$! They even try 2 tell the crowd 2 pay attention 2 them and stop textin.....HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.....no 1 listened. But they had a crowd. The reason why they had a crowd.....Bcause it was members of ROONEY and the.LikE (they both suck A$$). This side project was not workin and they kept on tellin jokes that where not funny. They even said "we R gonna stop w/the jokes. It's over shodowin the music. Wha?". I was done w/them and I pulled out my phone and played a game. I was done.........The crowd left after that band and a new crowd came 4 DAN.BLACK. It was a so so crowd 4 them. I heard a couple of songs from them and it was....okay. But I wanted 2 checkout there per4mance. I did not C any cool kids in the crowd so I was a bit.....let's C what happens. They came out around 1 and DAN.BLACK (lead singer) came out wearin this crazy jumpsuit out of the 80s that looked half McHammer pants meets Madonna "Borderline" top shirt from the video and sum green paint on his cheeks. Livin in the 80s. still. He was all over the stage ownin it and havin fun. He was pumpin the crowd and the crowd was givin back. BUT! I was not in2 it. I was hoping 2 like him but.....oh well. @least I saw him and..........there was these huge guys (security) passin by and I looked over 2 C and it was MR.Steve.Aoki (he needs.....bodyguards? really?). Then I looked up 2 the stage and sum1 had joined DAN.BLACK. It was KiD.CUDi. Now I know why the security/bodyguards. KiD.CUDi was holdin a bottle of VODKA and givin people sum. They sure need it. I was pretty much done. Not even KiD.CUDi could hold my appeal 2. nite.

I was lookin 4ward to HOT.CHiPs new album (One Life Stand) when they spit out “One Life Stand” last year as a single. AWESUM track. BUT.....it took me awhile 2 listen 2 this album Bcause of all the mixed reviews I read (which i ignore all the time). I know I know. Judge it Urself. I am non-stop busy listenin 2 YEASAYER and SADE’s album. I had 2 put my mind in 2 it and took a listen. Not bad. The key songs R “One Life Stand” (of course), “Thieves in the Night”, “I Feel Better”, “Brothers”, “Alley Cats” and “Take it In”. I also love the artwork on the album. What does it mean? It means.....”buy the album or we will pull Ur head off and feed it 2 the stones?”. Okay.
