SADE.2011
@Honda.Center.(Anaheim, CA)

I have never been surrounded by so many drunk people that kept it together.  You (well, me) always have that crazy a$$ next to you being a jerk, but none.  But, there was that guy that had to much and had to go to the bathroom after every fourth song and he had to be on our row.  Really, right on "Love Is King", "Jezebel", "By Your Side" and "Is It A Crime"?  Pee in your cup. The crazy thing I saw was this lady having a hard time walking up the stairs while getting  escorted out.  She was wasted and I wonder what she did wrong.  Another crazy thing that NEVER happens at the Rock concerts that I go to, is getting thrown something.  YEA!  A bag of peanuts hits the armchair in front of me, hitting both couples that are in front of me and hitting Dianna's leg.  I do not know if it was for the couple in front of me that kept standing up and blocking the view OR Dianna's screaming.  It's a FCVKn concert.  There is always THAT sour puss who hates watching other people having a great time.  It did not hit me, but the crashing noise made me jump.  That was a $6.00 bag of peanuts.  $6.00!
jdn73,johnlegend,sade,anaheim,orangecountyBesides watching the fans getting into the music, I mean, REALLY GETTING INTO THE MUSIC.  Sade was AMAZING!  This is her BEST yet!  Sade looked and sounded GREAT.  Even the visuals and the stage design was FCVKn K!LLER.  This show was PERFECT, even the set list.
jdn73,johnlegend,sade,anaheim,orangecountySade opened up with "Soldier Of Love" and you knew right away that song set the bar with hit after hit.  Almost every song from her "Best Of" album and once they played  "Smooth Operator", everyone got up and sang along.  I was hoping they would play, "The Safest Place" (my favorite song from the latest album, Soldier of Love") but, no.  But, they made up for it with "Kiss of Life".
jdn73,johnlegend,sade,anaheim,orangecountySade closed the night with, "Cherish the Day" (the encore) and what a perfect song to end this AMAZING  concert.  This goes to show that you don't need 20 dancers and dozens of costume changes to keep us entertain.  We just want you to connect to us personally.  That's what Sade and her band did.  I love that they displayed  old video footage of themselves when they where young, playing at small clubs.  What a nice way of saying,  "Thank You" (that's what I got).
