The Interlopers is a NEW play written by Gary Lennon (Writer/Director). Gary Lennon has written on TV shows like Justified (consulting Producer), The Shield (Executive Story Editor) and The Unusuals (C0-Producer). He has also Directed/Written his first movie ".45" (staring; Milla Jovovich, Angus Macfadyen and Stephen Dorff) and ".45" made it's world premiere on stage in London at The Hampstead Theatre in 2010. Now on June 17, 2011 (SOLD OUT!), The Bootleg Theater World Premieres The Interlopers.
The Interlopers is a Transgender Romeo/Juliet story set in the transgender community of Los Angeles. The play explores the theme of identity by following a group of misfits banded together as a family.
The Interlopers runs from June 17 thru July 17, 2011. It plays Fridays & Saturdays at 8pm and Sundays at 7pm. Tickets are $25.00. Student/Seniors are $18.00. For info & tickets, go to: www.bootlegtheater.org
