At 1st I was not crazy about this album BUT......after a couple of listens......I was in. I was not crazy about the 1st single, “Rocket”. It put me off from listenin 2 the album. “Rocket” sounded like a cheesy 80s song from the Pointer Sisters (which I like don’t get me wrong, but it was not workin 4 me) that was thrown away and picked up by Alison. Then I head “Dreaming”, “Shiny and Warm”, “I Wanna Life” and “Believer”. I was.....”Alright”. Those R the outstandin tracks from this album. I was great 2 C in her credits that Richard X helped out. Right on. I just might get the LP after all.

......Well.....that FCVKn volcano really FCVKd it up 4 me. No DELPHiC & no GARY.NUMAN. DAM! I really wanted 2 C those bands 2day. But they sure had sum GARY.NUMAN shirts. What.....no DELPHiC shirts? DAM. I headD 2 the GOBi.tent 2 checkout FLORENCE.and.the.MACHiNE. I arrivD early and it was gettin packD after the last band left the stage. She hit the stage on time and aftr the 2nd song......I was not in2 it. She BORED me. Not what I XpectD. But I stuck around tell the end Bcause there was nothin else 4 me 2 checkout.....well.....MATT.&.KiM and Sunny Day Real Estate......I 4got.....Oops. I so space out on them. Aftr Florence, I walked over 2 checkout CLUB.75. I was in PARiS not 2 long ago (last week) and I did not C anythin about CLUB.75. Is this sumthin that the.ED.BANGER.crew made up in the last minute just 2 B on the bill this year? Who knows but I was a bit bored already. Enough. I get it. Paris rules. So I just walked around and just people watched. the.SAHARA.Tent is the best place 2 watch people. It's crazy here. The outfits, the drugs and the half naked crowd that goes crazy over the musik they play here. No mattr if it's good or bad. They R bouncin around w/a smile on there faces. The best thing 2 happen in front of me was these 2 guys doin blow out in the open. No shame what so evr. They just pullD it out and snortD away. They even lickD the package that was in. Pretty crazy. I even taped them doin it. I was gonna post it....but......no. Now I know why they call it "CokeChella".............Aftr watchin people dancin, fallin asleep next 2 me and doin drugs, I decided checkout JULiAN.CASABLANCAs. The place was PACKd when I arrived 2 the MOJAVE.tent. It was hard 2 get in. I moved 2 the side of the tent and found a open space 2 get in. right on. Plus.....people where leavin already. The set was almost over and I lookD up and he had (Julian) his back on us once again. when he was done singin he wood turn toward the drums. why? He did the same thing when I saw him last year @the.PALACE in downtown L.A. I was bored just watching him already. The people in the tent where more interestin. More people startD 2 leave and I movD up closer 2 catch MiiKE.SNOW next. I heard alot of good things about MiiKE.SNOW and U know what......they where right and they where......AWESUM! They made my Sunday. They came out wearin Phanton of the Opera kind of masks. cool. Who said U need fancy light or visuals 2 make Ur band POP Bcause MiiKE.SNOW showD us that U really do not need that. The energy of the band was incredible. Every single member in the band was interestin 2 watch. The programers where goin crazy on there digital drum pads like "Bon" (of NiTZER.EBB programmer) and they moved a bit like him 2. I was hooked that I stuck around 2 the end. right on...........I headed 2 the outdoor stage 2 catch PHOENiX and this time they where good. There lights where left Bhind Bcause of the volcano so the stage was simple and it worked and it fit the mood. I stuck around 4 a few songs and walkD around 4 a bit 2 catch PAVEMENT and LiTTLE.BOOTs. PAVEMENT was.....okay and I left aftr the 3rd song and I passD by LiTTLE.BOOTs. Her tent was PACKED! I stuck around just 4 a few songs. It was the same show from last year or this year.....i 4got.....and I think she ragged on Ke$ha. She said sumthin about her. Like I said about Victoria (Little Boots).....she is hard 2 understand. I just hope people R catchin on 2 how fake Ke$ha is. I read a review on MIA and she was asked about the X-Factor and she just answered "I have no idea why no one has talked about how Ke$ha sounds so much like Uffie". BINGO! Goin back 2 LiTTLE.BOOTs.....she had a lazers and her light but no costume changes. She brought up the volcano. Crazy. Aftr a couple of songs, I headD 2 the.SAHARA.tent 2 catch ORBiTAL (the 90s). Hey......they where good. They R still rockin out the dance tunes like mad. I loved that they played a mashup that really worked and I loved it. They mashD-up Belinda Carlisle's song "Heave is a Place on Earth" w/John Bon Jovi's "You Give Love a Bad Name". That was genius. I thought people wood go crazy but not really. Not even a yell here or there. shockD. Aftr that......I walkD around again and from far away I saw the Gorillaz sign go up and I heard people rushin 2 C Tom Yorke. I went 2 check him out and I say.....I prefer RADiOHEAD. He bored me. I was like......okay and After the 2nd song.......I left............I went 2 the main stage 2 get a good seat 4 the Gorillaz. Oh yea....B4 I 4get......I went 2 checkout the.BiG.PiNK and all I heard was noise so I went 2 the main stage. I was....."okay, I saw U guys already. Do I really need 2 C them again?.......not really". So I went 2 the main stage and sat there waitin 4 GORiLLAZ. People started cumin after Tom Yorke. It was gettin crazy here........FCVK! Anothr bore. Now I know why Oasis do not like Damon. Such a starFcVKr. They showD video aftr video. They had Snoop Dog on the jumbotron but he was a no show and U could tell sum where waitin 4 him 2 cum out but.....no. Then they played STYLO w/the music video behind them w/Bruce Wills. Really. I was done.........C ya next year.......

Saturday Coachella

.......The 3day wristband works! The traffic has moved and I think what helped was that this year U can camp out in Ur car. When I arrived 2 Jefferson St there was no traffic. Even on the street U turn on 2 go 2 the fest was CLEAR. nice. I like this. I really did not have 2 do my secret route. But of course U still had 2 go through there check point twice. Other then that......it went smooth. From the parkin lot 2 the Coachella grounds it took me less then 20min compare 2 yesterday that was about an hour and 15min. nice. I went 2 the shirt stand 2 C what new stuff they had. They had a NEW the.XX shirt that I bought and that was it. I was hopin 4 La.ROUx but nothin. I headed 2 the.SAHARA.tent 2 catch Jason.Bentley. It was quiet here. But 4 sure later on durin the day it's goin 2 B crazy here. Jason openD up his set w/MASSiVE.ATTACK's new song (which I love) "Paradise Circus" the Gui Boratto RMx. nice. What a perfect song 2 start the day. I hung out 4 about 30min and headed 2 C GiRLs.............WTF is this?!?! Well.....the tent was full and people where in2 it but I was not diggin this (GiRLs). I took off aftr the 1st song and decided 2 walk around 4 a bit B4 TEMPER.TRAMPs. I was goin 2 standin out in the sun @the 2nd stage but I decided 2 just watch TEMPER.TRAMPs from far in the shade. My neck was burnin. I really do not know much about this band other then that song "Sweet Disposition". I was glad that the lead singer was Indonesian (I looked up the band). Did not know that. right on. So I was here sittin down and all of a sudden there was this person 10ft away pissin. okay. Then anothr person came 10min later and did the same. $H*T! So I decided 2 move. My next stop was BEACH.HOUSE. Not bad and not what I XpectD. They sounded good and what is up with the crazy cheap props that look like shiny pinatas goin in circles very slowly. Looks like sumthin my grandmothr made but I think she wood of done a bettr job. Bsides the cheep props, they where good and I think they should of playD @nite.............4 sure I had 2 C Gossip. This is there 1st time here and I just wanted 2 C the crowd. Already Cing family arrivin 2 the tent and it was gettin PACKED! They hit the stage 10min late. U gotta realize that every minute counts here Bcause there is anothr band goin on that U wanna C. So goin on late really kills. I was lookin @my phone Bcause I wanted 2 catch the.XX. I told myself only after 5 songs and leave but hittin the stage late made my stay short but worth it. She came out lookin her BEST. I love the makeup she was sportin. RemindD me of Souixsie Sue. She wore a very Mexican or Native American lookin outfit and she was workin it. Beth's voice was Amazin and she was Rockin iT and I loved that she told us "I 4got the next song but I know its a dance track so U bettr dance.....Bitchies!". She just outD us. AWESUM! And sure enough.....she had us dancin. I wanted 2 C more but I had 2 leave.............I left the GOSSiP and headed 2 the outside stage and from far away I C this HUGE X on the stage. How funny. It startD 2 get crowD so I tried my best 2 move up closer and closer until no more. They went on time and the.XX killed it. They soundD bettr from the last time I saw them (thats when the other member left them in the middle of there tour last year) and they changed a couple of the songs around. Nice job (U know I love that stuff). I guess 3 is the lucky # 4 them aftr all. I also noticed that Oliver (Guitarist) was a bit loser and givin us a stare (mean). He never did that and I prefer the old Oliver but this was....workin, I guess. Go back 2 the gentle Oliver. Just stand there and look good while playin Ur guitar. And of course they had 2 show Jay.Z on the JumboTron checkin out the.XX and people went crazy. really?!?! this is the.XX moment. I stayed through the whole set and I loveD that people did not leave. They stuck around. Good 4 them. They deserve it. Then I get a text from a friend tellin me how borin they where. I was.....what? really? wow. What do U XpectD from this person who went 2 go C Justin.Timberlake. That tells U sumthin.............I did the mistake 2 leave the outside stage aftr the.XX.....I 4got for what so I was stuck watcin Hot Chip from far. I lookD @my schedule wrong I guess. HOT.CHiP soundD great and the new songs did 2. It was cool 2 watch people dance and let lose. Just like they did @LCD. I stuck around 4 a couple of songs and headed 2 the GOBi.Tent 2 C, just C if BAD.LiEUTENANT wood show but of course it was cancelD. DAM! FCVKn volcano. I wantD 2 C this new band from Bernard Sumner (New Order front man) and once again I have 2 wait. $H*T. Last time they could not get in the states Bcause of visas and now this. So I went and checkD out ATERCiOPELADOs. They where GOOD. so it was ment 2 B 4 me 2 miss Bad aftr all. My people where here gettin down and showin off there MEXiCAN spirit. I have a couple of there songs (which I should play more often aftr this show) and I think I should get sum more. They where rockin it OUT!. After that, I went 2 grab sumthin 2 eat and heard MGMT from faraway. Just where I wood like 2 B. They just don't interest me. After my chow I went 2 the main stage 2 get a good seat of MUSE. I heard so much about this band live and they where right. They where......AWESUM! This is my 1st MUSE show and they did not disappoint. They had a incredible light show and killer visuals. This is FCVKn Rock 'n Roll. They even had those fireworks that land on the stage. U don't get heavy then that. PEACHEs....please have that on Ur stage next time. Aftr that.....I walked around 4 a bit 2 C SiA, DEVO and 2manyDj's that all played at the same time and late......and my camera battery died. DAM! I blame it on MUSE. they had cool $H*T...........

2010.COACHELLa.(Friday).

....Here we go again and so Xcited. It feels like it was just yesturday that I was here and this is goin 2 B my 1st time stayin @ a hotel. I use 2 stay w/a friend but he decided 2 move out of Palm Springs. Oh well. And this year I did not....well....I did not get picked 2 go 2 the.FiLTER.party this year. U had 2 enter a contest.?.? FCVK U! oh well. So I just hung out @the hotel (that was SOLD OUT) 2 C who else arrive's but it was quiet. the parkin lot was still empty and I turned on the TV. Watchd Project.Runway and fell asleep.............I woke up early and took a dip in the pool. nice. The weathr was good but once noon came along.....it was......HOT. I took off around 12:30p and went down the 111. Once I arrived 2 Jefferson St....it was crazy. So I went my secret way and once again....it worked. They changed the route 2 park but this was bettr. I parked by the entrance and that was anothr hour. $H*T! I got in line and it was a check point where they bag check U 4 stuff and then U walk up a couple of feet and show Ur ticket 2 get the 3day wristband. Which was a bit crazy. Sum girl wanted 2 sneak by me but she lost.....hahahahahha. But of course I had 2 get the pothead. He took 4ever. So I got my wristband...............and walked 2 the event BUT......there was anothr check point. FCVK. This is worse then LAX. Well I got in.....FiNALLY around 3. DAM. I hope 2morrow runs smooth since we have the 3day wristband (that they scan by the way. There is a metal chip underneath it). Crazy. Oh wow, they have a ferris wheel this time. Cool. But of course U have 2 pay 2 get on. I headed 2 the shirt stand 2 C what they had and bougth sum shirts (the.Specials & FEVER.RAY). After all that, I was hungry. I went 2 get sum food and I noticed a Gluten Free stand. Yea. I was shocked and happy but they did not have anythin good. So i just got my chicken and rice bowl and sat down and glanced in2 my Coachella booklet...........My 1st band on my list was.....YEASAYER. So I went 2 the tent they where playin and it was gettin full. They hit the stage on time and this time around they had lights. Cool. It's in the budget. Once again, they kicked A$$. The new musik sounded great and they where entertainin 2 watch. They played my song, "O.N.E.". I was a happy camper. Aftr them I went 2 the dance tent (SAHARA) 2 catch.....Aeroplane. Not bad and they played there Friendly.Fires RMx of "Paris". Such a beautiful song.......I stuck around 4 a bit and headed 2 the main Coachella Stage 2 catch the.SPECiALs...........this is sad. The grounds of the main stage was a bit empty. There was a few people here and this is the 1st time I am up in front @ the main stage. It was cool 2 C old, young and in-Btween crowd. Once the.SPECiALs hit the stage the crowd went......MAD. The Kids and the older people where moshing. Yes. Moshing........but the right way. Friendly. It was great 2 C that. Passing the torch and having fun 2gthr Bcause I grew up listening 2 them. The.SPECiALs where great & the energy on stage was incredable. This is my 1st time Cing them and I enjoyed evey bit of it and they played the hits. Aftr that I passed by the other stage and I saw PASSiON.PiT. They had a cool stage set and they sounded good.........anothr band that I am gonna C 4 the 1st time is ECHO.&.the.BunnyMen. Not bad. The played the hits and the music sounded great live BUT his voice has changed.......ALOT. I guess is all the smokin he still does. He had on his shades a$$ if the sun was out and a fag. I guess 2 show the kids. Who knows but he did not disappoint. Rock on Ian. Aftr that set i headed 2 the main 1 again 2 catch LCD.Soundsystem.....Wow. The big stage. They R movin up and they sounded......GREAT! Heard sum new tunes & they sounded very promising. While I was watchin this set I noticed the time and headed 2 the SAHARA.TENT. but I arrived 2 late. I missed Erol.ALKAN. $H*T! Thats what happens when I hung out 4 a bit 2 C iMOGEN.HEAP. She had a cool set. Very Bjork like. So I had 2 check it out and she was a trip. She was bouncin from Instrument 2 instrument. She had this glowin tree. CRAZY. COOL.......aftr that I went 2 C VAMPIRE.WEEKEND............VAMPiRE.WEEKEND sounded good live and they R gettin bettr. The new songs sounded great. They had the crowd sing along. It was a fun set 2 watch. Rock on Horchata. Aftr that I went 2 C Fever Ray. They hit the stage @ least 10 mints late that sum people left 2 C JayZ. The tent was FULL and I was surprise Bcause this is a DARK band but I guess that's what people want 2 C. I only stayed 4 about 5 songs. It was the same stage set up and this time there was no sage. Thank GOD! So I headed 2 see P.I.L. I only stayed 4 about 2 songs @P.i.L. Bcause I really wanted 2 catch the.Whitest.Boy.Alive. They do not cum 2 the states very often so I knew not 2 miss and U know what. They did not disappoint. He was funny and he had this cute dance (Oye). He was very entertaining and so was the band. He (Oye) spoke 2 us alot and told his journey from San Fran 2 the desert (here, Coachella) on the 1 (PCH). Thank god I stuck around till the end of the set but I knew 4 sure I am gonna pay the price 4 this. This time Coachella Xtended it's hour from 12am, now till 1am. I did not get 2 my hotel until 3am Bcause I was stuck in the parkin lot until 2. OUCH. like I said, I was gonna pay the price but it was worth watchin a band (the.Whitest.Boy.Alive) that hardly does not cum here.......

....Yea....this is a bit late but i'ts posted....right? Plus I went 2 the Big Fest @the desert this weekend (Coachella).....BUT what a great way 2 kick off Coachellla. This concert was SOLD OUT of course and thank God I looked around B4 they announced it on LA Weekly. When I arrived 2 the venue there was 2 lines. One was 2 get a ticket (I thought it was Sold Out) and that line was......Loooooong! The other was 4 people who had (that was short). I went in and HEALTH was the opener. I looked in2 the crowd and I saw hoodies, beanies, a couple of scarfs and a.....North Place jacket?! WTF. Okay, It's not that FCVKn cold. We had rain in the mornin but it cleared in the aftrnoon. Well @least sum1 decided 2 wear flip flops. Yup..........Here we go. In2 the 2nd song and Alice Glass (lead singer) was doin her thing.....yellin singin. GOD. She has not changed and she still can't sing. She had a backin track. Wow. No wonder she just yells and throws herself in2 the crowd. I could C why they love her. But aftr the 2nd song it got bettr 4 me. The yellin was not 2 crazy. They really came a long way that they had lights 4 this show and......a LiVE DRUMMER! I was........RIGHT ON! I did not notice him until the end. I thought it was just a taped recordin. ROCK ON! It was great 2 C them where they started and w/lyrics this time. When they opened up 4 the KLAXONs.....i think 2 yrs ago......it was bouncin around and yellin a couple of words here and there. I was....."How cute. She is Xcited 2 B in a band and playin live 4 the 1st time". Look @her now. No bouncin but still.......YELLIN! Punk Rock Lives!........oh.....they played sum new tracks....it look's promisin. Can not wait.
