The.Death.Set.2011

So, is judgement day coming soon? I thought we had until 2012? So confused. What ever happens, I am gonna be at Long Beach Gay Pride promoting my partner's play "The Interlopers". It opens up in June. Look out for it. It plays here at The Bootleg.

Win Win was the opening act and they where okay. They had some crazy visuals that you need to be on something to enjoy it. I have not heard of them until 2 weeks ago. I was sent a free download and it was okay. Same as everything out there right now. There are some people into it. I see someone wearing sunglasses and just staring at the visuals. Ahhhhhhhhh, DRUGS!

I came so close to going to Check Your Ponytail 2 because I wanted to see MNDR. Maybe next time. I heard of the.Death.Set so much that I had to see what is the hype.

The Bootleg is becoming my favorite place to see shows, but they need more light. It's a bit dim here. I don't mind it, but it helps to see the performers faces. Okay, the guy next to me can not stop talking about ninjas. "I wanna be a ninja and my friend just died", he told his friend. I think it's a virtual reality game thing. I thought I came to a rock concert, not Comic Con. This is a trip. Ninja this and Ninja that, it was some crazy chatter and his hair looked like Dragon Ball Z. Look it up if you do not know what Dragon Ball Z is.

the.Death.Set came out around 11:15pm and they where...CRAZY. People almost started a mosh-pit, but no luck. I think they where scared of the JUST one bouncer. He was also the security guy and he kept this crowd under control. It was only ONE bounce/security guy! This crowd was weak and the band told us that. Here we go again. Not knowing much about The Death Set and they kicked ASS! Brooklyn rules, once again. BUT...the album (Michel Poiccard) sounds better on record then live. I couldn't make anything out on what Johnny Siera (Lead Singer) was singing. It was; blah, blah, blah, blah, Ahhhhhhhhh, Lossssss Angelesssss! Okay, goodnight. Thanks.

$H*T!
