I arrived early thinkin it wood B busy but it was not. They had us waiting in line 2 think it was. it was 1030p and we R still waitin outside w/this crazy guy who i thought was full of SH*T. He just kept sayin (out loud so people could hear) he new the openin band and they R gonna kick ass. over and over. Then he wood say he was from Canada and he spoke French and he started 2 speak French. SH*T! He kept sayin how much he loved L.A. and he is here just 2 watch the 1st band. this guy is full of it or what? he was 2 loud and he was only 2 people ahead of me. I was hoping he wood not start talikn 2 me so i kept lookin away. This guy was sumthin. 2 top it off. we get inside and the place is empty. iT's already 11p and the doors 2 the main stage is not open. another long ass NiTE! DAM! so i was standin and just lookin @the kid w/the fannypack dancin (the only 1). he was a trip 2 watch. Him and the Canadian made my day. The only dancer was doin sum crazy moves. he wood punch the sky and started 2 do these crazy moves that looked like vouging but more....U just had 2 watch. i was about 2 pull out my camera 2 video tape him. It was hard 2 Xplain his dance moves. THEN he wood go up 2 the DJ booth (nobody still dancing) and start punchin the sky and dance givin the DJ props....U know what I mean? I was lookin @the DJ 2 C what he was thinkin but he wood not look up 2 C him.
it's 1130 and the doors R open and the 1st band goes on. I was tryin not 2 like the 1st band but they grabbed me. I should of takin photos and there goes that crazy Canadian on the dance floor. He really knew the band members. Here i though he was just full of it. Here comes the only dancer and he started dancin next 2 the Canadian. How funny is this. But U know what, the band the Canadian guy new where GOOD! I need 2 go home and find them out. which i did and there name R: "WOODHANDs". LOOK THEM UP! this is my next band 2 watch out 4. Good call Canadian guy. U R not really full of SH*T. U put me in my place.
it's 12sumthin and the band I wanted 2 C (SEBASTiAN.GRAiNGR from DFA) was not what I Xpected. I want more WOODHANDs instead. But U can tell who was the real mastermind Bhind Death From Above. SEBASTiAN!
I got here around 9sumthin and ELECTROCUTE was on. BUT 1st, what the hell is goin on @the.FONDA (Music.Box)? It's turnin like the Palladium. it was an adventure 2 get inside. I donot know how many times I had 2 show my ticket. they even punched a hole in it. I had 2 show that hole 2 get inside and a wrist band. HELL! then i went 2 the left hand entrance and they did not let any1 in on that side. Isn't that a fire hazard? I had 2 go 2 the other side and show my wrist band. FCVK! I was in and it took what.......5mins. That was alot of work. 2 top it off. ELECTROCUTE SUX'd. what happen 2 that band? Then I thought PEACHEs was next.
WRONG. it's 10sumthin and this 1 man band was next. DRUM.of.DEATH. what the hell. his face was painted like a skull......and it was not 4 me. I wanted it 2 end already. but he kept goin. does this mean, PEACHES is goin on really late? YEA! DAM! but the crowd was eatin it. I was surrounded by alot of ladies. OKAY. I donot get this. People love 2 push and shove 2 get up in the front....I donot mind but once U start 2 push me out of the way.....sumthin is goin 2 happen. there was these 2 couples and they pushed and shoved 2 get up here. I was 2 feet away from the stage.
Sum of the people around me where gettin mad @the couple. THEN, there was this other couple doin the same thing and they where gettin mad. OKAY. wait a minute. U pushed and shoved and now this other people R doin the same and they do not like. what the FCVK is wrong w/U. crazy ass FVCKN people. But it was all good. PEACHEs hits the stage @11sumthin and what a AWESUM show once again. she KiCKs ASS! LOVED iT!
i LOVE old town Pomona! I do not know how much I have 2 say that but it rocks here. I arrived just i time 2 get a small snip it of the.FiELDs. not bad. I looked around and i think there is about 50 people in here. wow. after the.FiELDs left the stage I saw JAMES.MURPHY. in the crowd. is it Bcause Juan is on the DFA label? How cool. Only 1 kid recognized him and took photos w/him, cool. 
SADE is in the air and is that.......KANO?....i have not heard that song 4 the longest. impress. the lights dim and the.JUAN.MACLEAN is on. AWESUM! They R killin it. This is my 1st time C-ing them and they remind me so much of LCD.Soundsystem. is it B-cause Nancy Whang is here singin w/Juan. not bad. LOVE iT! i wood love 2 C them again in LA but it's @the.PALACE (Avalon).......it's not a bad thing, but its a club nite and i donot want 2 B waitin around like last time.
I love that fact that Juan (lead singer) keeps pinchin his shirt alot. what is goin on, the shirt 2 tight? i feel u. i was there. HAPPY HOUSE
aNother album that I have been waiting 4 has arrived. I was a little scared when I heard the 1st single and then they put out “Dorchester Hotel”......AWESUM! I was pulled back in. Love it. The.Sounds. is goin 2 B 1 of those bands that R here 2 stay. Plus, Maja (lead singer) is a HOT! lookin Sweden. James Iha (X-Pumpkin) puts his finger on tracks 1, 5 (“Beatbox” really good) and 8. I cannot stop playin the album so that means.......A MUST GET! 
Here i am....back 2 the.AVALON. iLike it. They have good promoters. Thats a good sign. I arrived @11p sumthin....i had the feelin Tiga was gonna go on late BUT i really did not know that late. I get inside and i looked down 4 a second and it's a FCVKN Chuck Taylor convention. The last time i wore Con's was 1980 during GYM in Jr High/Senior High skool. never wore since. I guess Bcause they made my foot look like a burrito. Now, they R all over the place......like here. They need 2 go away like the classic Vans. The place is pack and James Murphy is on the deck Bhind this huge radio/cassette player that looks like what i had in the 80's myself. FUNNY. iLike. 1st of all......am I the only 1 who is 40 in here? DAM! the crowd is SO YOUNG! iT's a skool nite.....right? WOW. BUT.....what the FCVK? Okay...this is weird.....did half of the crowd leave? good 4 me.....let's move up....I was 3 feet away from the stage next 2 a kid w/A.PERFECT.CIRCLE t-shirt.....how cool. Next thing I noticed, sum was yelling "Jorge". then again, "Jorge". then i heard....."Jorge D. Nunez!". I was shocked and turned around. there was this guy B-hind me and I hit him Bcause i thought i new him but he did not. He just found my ID on the floor and handed it 2 me. He said " U look nothin like the ID". "Yea, i get that alot and thank U" i said. How funny. I was surprised he did not hit me back....i thought sum1 was FCVKN w/me.
LADY.S.O.V. hit the stage and she is.......SHORT! wow. she was funny but the crowd was a bit dead. She wanted a mosh pit on "Public Warning" and that......kind of did not happen.....get CHESTER.FRENCH out. what? that was it. SH*T!
