the.SOUNDs w/SHiNY.TOY.GUNs (LiVE!) in San Diego.

So this is my......what.....5th time watchin this band (the.SOUNDs). When I heard they where doin this agian on there own this time.....headling.....i was on. BUT, the 1 in L.A. was @the.WiLTERN. Nope. So I checked 2 C where else and U know what.....the.House.of.Blues in San Diego.....I AM THERE! The House of Blues here in SD.....ROCKs! Love comin here and U know what.....the.SOUNDs killed it again.I don't think this band well EVER disappoint. NEVER. Even if they start off with songs that I am not a huge fan of. In2 the 4th song, I was a bit off from them. They where playin songs that I am not a huge fan of. I even brought my Best Friend Deanna 2 this show Bcause she has never saw them. But when they came 2 the 5th song......BAM! Hit after Hit! She (Deanna) LOVED iT! AWESUM. Including SHiNY.TOY.GUNs. Yup.....once again. STG has joined them on tour w/the new female singer Sisely Treasure (who was in......Cooler.Kids.....remember that band. It FLOPPED, Big TiME!) Now she is the new face 4 STG......BUT......what a face.....I think she had sum face work Bcause i could not stop starin. Looked a bit like.....a bulletproof face. CRAZY. Well....she did okay but she did not hit those high notes like Carah Faye Charnow. I wonder what happen there. This concert was on FIRE! Even the fans where a bit CRAZY! There was this group of people who wood not let in people who wanted 2 move up. Thats FCVKd UP! There was this DRUNK (of course) couple non-stop french kissing......it's oaky once or twice but through the WHOLE SHOW! Go 2 the bathroom already! Other then the other girl throwing what looked like a LA sign (I guess that's what it was) w/her hands......THiS WAS THE PLACE 2 B on a Friday nite in San Diego. ROCK ON SD.

There is alot of really bad mix albums out there BUT.....this 1 does not disappoint. I was a bit stiff when I saw this BUT.....it was only $7.99 to download and U know what.......iT’s REALLY GOOD! I cannot stop playing this whole album. Check it out.

OKAY......if U have not yet heard of La.ROUx.......what is Ur problem? Get Ur $H*T 2gethr and get the album. 1 thing they (the band) need 2 do is work on sum shirts. ELLY! get Ur people 2 work on a shirt......I WANT 1! I guess they do not need the $$$. Well.....this is my 3rd show and now that the album is out and know the music bettr, I had 2 C them again. PLUS, they R good live. It is always great 2 C if that hair is gonna fall any time soon.....but, it doesn't. She (Elly) must put sum heavy duty $H*T on it. Right on. But now I want a shirt and once again, STRIKE. nothing. Why? who knows. Is IO.ECHO the only available LA band here? I C them openin up 4 almost all the bands that R gettin hype. Who knows on that 1. Once they left the stage.....La.ROUx was up next and they took awhile. I mean.....awhile. Until.....they made an announcement. I thought they where gonna cancel......BUT, no. She still came out and told us she was sick. And that the set was gonna B short. WHA? That was really cool of her 2 do that. But I suggest.....just lip sync the $H*T. So of course she wanted us 2 sing-a-long......flashback.....DM concert. Wha? iT's all good though. She was a good sport and played only 7 songs. She apologized alot 2 us and the smoke machine was makin it worse. They left the stage after "Bulletproof" and the curtain fell. Goodnite......? Oh well. It was great 2 C them again and I wood do it again. PLUS.....the crowd was bettr then last time. Even though after the bad news.....they did not care, they where here 2 have a good time and C the future of a new band. It was a Colourless Colour kind of fun. nice.

U must download these songs; “Bricks and Mortar”, “Paillon (very DM)”, “You Don’t Know Love”, “The Boxer” and “Like Treasure”. The rest is just.....okay. I was a bit disappointed but U know what, they tried sumthin new. And they choose a good producer 2 do this album; the FLOOD. Now go back 2 guitars.

METRONOMY (LiVE!) @the.ROXY

When I heard that METRONOMY where cumin 2 L.A. U know I had 2 get my ticket that same day. I have been waitin 2 C them live. I heard alot of good things about them live.....and U know what....they did not disappoint. I loved the fact that they wore a uniform on stage. White pants w/a brown top.....PLUS! a huge round light (Push Lights) on there chest that turned off and on w/the beat of the music......LOVED iT! And It was not cheesy by the way. R they R next.......DEVO?Every member of the band was intertainin 2 watch. They had a femal drummer that was amazing and I heard that she was in Lightspeed Champion (need 2 look @my old photos). The bassist worked his bass guitar (black 2) and the other keyboardest, Oscar Cash had a funky dance that was out from Revenge of the Nerds movie. FUN. I loved the fact that Joseph Mount (Lead Singer) joked in-between song but I was not sure if he was jokin because he wood have a blank look on his face and went on 2 the next song. Thumbs up 4 METRONOMY and Thumbs down 4 FOOLs.GOLD. Was not in2 that band. What's all the hype on them? U wood think.....with a STONE.ROSEs song title they wood live up 2 the name but.....NO! not 4 me. NEXT!

FEVER.RAY (LiVE!) @Pomona/Los Angeles

When I saw pic's of the New York shows, i had 2 go 2 both and U know what, i was glad that i did. What a diff crowd. I gotta tell U, I prefered the Pomona crowd. They where in2 it more then the L.A. crowd. @Pomona, i did not C any1 get in2 a fight or looked or texted on there phone. They where in2 it and enjoy evry bit of the show. Not in L.A. now that's a whole diff story there.As U can tell, i went picture crazy. Hey! I wanted 2 remember this show. It was FCVKn amazing. As 4 me, I think this was bettr then the.KNiFE. the.KNiFE was good, but this show was bettr. I was blown away. The 2nd best show so far this year.This concert is up there w/GRACE.JONEs and FiSCHERSPOONER. What an amazin show. U missed out people. Well, even though the show in L.A. was a bit lame (the crowd), I still had a great time. Who goes 2 a show and makes friends @ 1st and then pull a 360 and start fightin w/them? what kind of low SH*T is that. Then, he starts 2 get a bit drunk and starts 2 bump in2 people. OKAY, FEVER.RAY is not that crazy of a dance band, but i know this is a concert. Let him have his fun. Whatevr, It's a concert........but why do I get these FCVKn drunks next 2 me!?!THEN! I hear him fightin w/the people around me. So they started talkin SH*T 2 him and THEN (this is when I said sumthin) this girl had the nerve 2 call him a FAGGOT! When she said that, there was a couple of Hey's. So i turned my head and told the girl, "Hey, watch Ur mouth. I'm Gay". THEN! she tells me, "I'm Gay myself". So I turned 2 look @ her.......really look @ her. I guess my look said it all. This is what i told her, "What? U gotta B kiddin me.....right? 1st thing......this is a concert. If U don't like it.....push him or move. Simple. Just don't respect family. Stupid FCVK". she left. 20minutes in2 the show, there is this FCVKr textin non-stop. Even his friend kept turnin around. GET THE HINT FCVKr! but no....he kept on until the end. I wanted 2 tell him "This ain't no Kylie, right?". He was not in2 it. I guess he wished he was on a go-go box flag dancing shirtless 2 "Celebration". Nothin like this happened in Pomona. NiCE. They kept the peace and enjoyed a fantastic Lazer, Halloweenish and a smoked up Sage show (felt like I was @ church). Is it me....or did she look a bit like Carrie when the blood spilled on her or a AFRiCAN Tribal Ceremony? AWESUM!

Yogurt Stop is gonna make me FAT! I FCVKN LOVE THiS SH*T! its way bettr then that othr 1 that is huge right now. I cannot remember the name.....I guess that's a good thing. Why promote them. This is just pure bliss 2 me. U should try it. It's in the heart of West Hollywood, CA on Santa Monica Blvd and Palm Ave. The best part, U pump it UR-self.....I like that. My favorite flavor is "Fierce" French Vanilla Bean. That's right...."FiERCE"! Funny. Each flavor has a name. They have Milk My Harvey Chocolate, Peppermint Dipstick, Original Weho Tart, Get Lucky Irish Mint and so on.....Check it out.

The Big Pink "A Brief History of Love"

Is it me, or does this album bring back the 90s sound, but in a good and better way. I love it and the mood of the album is perfect for 4ad. They fit right at home w/Clan of Xymox, The Pixies, Cocteau Twins, Bauhaus, Dead Can Dance and I could just keep goin. When I heard there 1st single “Velvet” I was in and wanted more. Sure enough, this album did not disappoint. A MUST!

I got 2 dance w/Nic Offer (lead singer of !!!), AWESUM! He catched me off guard Bcause I was takin Pic's and he stood there in front of me dancin 4 about 5 sec's and he went 2 the next person. HAHAHAHHAHA............That was fun.I LOVE C-ing this band live (!!!). They always look like they R havin fun and the best thing about then is watchin Nic Offer dance. He has this funny but cool dance. I like it. He made a comment about it 2nite and he was confused on why people where laughin when he started 2 dance. I think he did not like it. But that's what he is know 4. The crazy thing, I have no idea why they had this concert. There was no new songs. I thought they where here in L.A. doin a new album but I guess not. They just played there old jams. I wanted 2 hear sum new jams. Oh well. But his concert ROCKED! and once again, U can tell who the people came here 2 C and what 2 Xpect. I over heard sum people talkin about them 2 newbies. That's cool. Other then that, The openin act; Indian Jewelry was okay. They should have the girl sing instead of the male. It was bettr w/the female singin.

NOT A DiSAPPOiNTiNG ALBUM. The lead singer of iNTERPOL (Paul Banks) has come out w/a really good solo album that is nothing from his band. RiGHT ON! If U R or not a iNTERPOL fan.........this is 4 U. The standout tracks R “No Chance Survival”, “Unwind”, “Only If You Run”, “Games For Days”, “Madrid Song” and “Fly As You Might”. Those tracks I cannot stop listening 2. Check it out.
