LiTTLE.BOOTs.(LiVE!) @the.ROXY

A Real drummer, A Real Synthesis and she (LiTTLE.BOOTs aka Victoria C. Hesketh) used alot of gadgets including the famous TENORi-ON! (actually got 2 C how it really works. Look in2 it!). She.......was..........AWESUM!I arrived early 2 catch the other bands and they SUXd A$$! I 4got the names 2 the bands but the 1st band reminded me of Metrostation (YUK!). The 2nd band was @least bettr then the 1st but I was told that they where good. They where not. I have no idea why this person cumpared them 2 ABBA. Nothin like them @ ALL! Wait a minute.......did I C a person w/a backpack in here of Elmo? What the FCVK. Can sum1 show him the exit and tell him this is not 1990 anymor. Leave that SH*T @home. That little incident got me lookin in2 the crowd and it was a mix of young, old and in-Btween. It was a crowd that new who they where here 2 C. When she hit the stage, people started 2 dance and raise there drinks in2 the air. As if they heard there fav song @ a nite-club. Right on! All I can say......she killed the show. What a per4mer. The music sounded AWESUM live and she rocked the SH*T out of "Stuck on Repeat". That song was bettr live. The other songs sounded promisin. Now I cannot wait 4 the full album 2 cum out (stop w/ the EP's) so I can get my little boots on.......hold up. Is her outfit from the.HOUSE.of.GAGA?

Is This......"Speak & Spell" part 2?

LA.ROUx self title album is out. I don’t like 2 compare bands or albums but if U listen very close, this sounds so much like the “Speak & Spell” album. I LOVE iT! Simple. Not glossy or over produced, just simple. Good job. If U R a fan of the 1st DM album, well.....this is 4 U. The whole album is......really good. Thank god. How long was this album on the works?...a year and a half?.....i think. Well.....the wait is over and they have done an amazing job on this album. There is not even 1 awful track.....well. J/K. it’s a MUST! so go and get it.

ARCTiC.MONKEYs (LiVE!) @the.Hollywood.Palladium

I was so Xcited 2 C this show w/the.KLAXONs......BUT!......yea......there is a BUT. When it came closer 2 the date of the event......there was a change on the bill......WITH OUT A NOTICE! Cum on. They should FCVKN post this SH*T. I 4got what paper I saw that said "The Like". What the FCVK! This horrible band is still around?. I know why they R added........this is BULLSH*T......cum on. Let sum1 bettr 2 fit this bill......that @least stuggled.......don't give us this BULLSH*T band 2 replace the.KLAXONs.So yea. No post on why the.KLAXONs where a no show. I wanted 2 hear the new music that was scrapped up and put away. This is why i am here. I am not here 4 ARCTiC.MONKEYs, they bore me. I am here 4 the.KLAXONs. They throw a good show. So pretty much i was pissed when it was confirm that the.KLAXONs where a no. I really did not wanna go 2 this show aftr that. I could of gone 2 C YEAH.YEAH.YEAHs w/YACHT in Pomona. BUT! that concert was SOLD OUT! that wood of been FUN & BETTR!. DAM! So i went in when the.LiKE went off the stage and headed 2 the stage. WOW!.......this concert is.......SOLD OUT?! I looked around and it look less people in here cumpared 2 FRANZ concert. I guess. So.......ARCTiC.MONKEYs hit the stage and they BORED ME! all they do is stand around and do there thing. BUT.......the good thing, the new album (that I careless about) sounded good live. Not a huge fan of the new album.......it's dark and this band is NOT DARK! this band is about havin a good time......They R still young and they should stick w/that until they hit 30. Then sing the dark stuff. Thats just my opinion. @least they closed it w/505. nice.After the A.M's show, I headed 2 MR.BLACK. I got there and it was no NYCity MR.BLACK. what do U Xpect.......this is LAME LA anyway. Clean and perfect.......MR.WHiTE?......mayB?

Once again....I read the reviews on this album and it has been...Mixed. So that made me curious and U know what...its okay. The best tracks R “Audacity of Huge (w/Chris Keating)”, “10000 Horses Can’t Be Wrong”, “Cruel Intentions (w/Beth Ditto)”, “Off the Map (w/Jamie Lidell)” and “Bad Blood (w/Alexis Taylor)”. Those R the tracks U must download. The rest R just okay.

FRANZ.FERDiNAND.(LiVE!) @the.Hollywood.Palladium

This concert is out of control......i mean.....this fire. Not really....nothin like that but this show was AMAZIN! FRANZ always throw a good show. I was so glad that they wanted 2 headline a show on there own while on tour w/Green Day? what the FCVK is that about? and @the.FORUM? what the FCVK is that about. no thanx. I have not been 2 the NEW.....Hollywood Palladium and I do not C anything diff or new about this. The only thing i noticed is that we had 2 leave threw the front doors of the venue which it's a 1st and a cool thing. I LIKE. But othr then that....i have no idea whats new in here. Looks the same when I was here 4 MOZ. I did not hear much of the 1st band but i arrived just in time. Got my shirt and headed 2 the stage. is it me.....or did they speed up the songs?. They went threw each song quick. Wha? is.....that "Fire" they R playin already?. Thats a change. They play that song @the end. I wonder what song they R gonna play now. But this show is goin down. The sound is loud and the people R dancin. LOVE iT! They even had (the band) this huge Jumbo Tron on the back of them that showed AWESUM visuals. OH HELL YEA......is that "Lucid Dreams". FCVK YEA. I wondered how they where gonna play this song live and they did a GREAT job on it. The outro was amazin. It felt as if i was back in 1992 when they use2 have Raves in the Palladium. This was the perfect song 2 end the nite and bring back the acid feel of the Palladium days. HELL YEA!

Who the FCVK is this opening act? AWFUL! How many people R up there? This is bad. They reminded me of that band that wore those long white gowns.....Spree sumthin. but this band had there regular cloths but it felt all over the place. It also felt very church like. I was lookin around the crowd 2 C what kind of people came 2 C FF's (Friendly Fires) and once again, a very young fan base. It looked packed but the night was not sold out. When that band went off stage, I headed 2 the front and once again.......when hit the stage @10 sumthin.......they killed the show. When I 1st saw them @COACHELLa......i did not know what 2 Xpectd from them and when they played the 1st song......I was blown away from Ed Macfarlane (Lead Singer) energy and his funky dance moves....in the HEAT! RiGHT ON! I loved it. So I was down 2 C them again and sure enough, they per4med. Awesum! PLUS, he was feelin sick and he kept apologizin about this voice, but U could hardly tell. I wood look in2 the crowd and It was great 2 C people sing along 2 evry song they played. nice. Okay.....I want a shirt.

SUNSET.JUNCTiON.2009

Here i am on a Sunday w/my Bo and WPL. I have been readin about this event that it was not goin 2 happen (which they say evry year). BUT.....of course it did. I did not go last year but i was here 2yrs ago when they changed the floor plan (which SUCKED!) and once again they changed it. They went back 2 the old way but they added the Santa Monica part (where it begins to Hoover).We arrived around 3 and it was not that busy and the set up was a bit weird. There was no stage on the East side of Sunset Blvd like the old days. It was on the Beginnin of Santa Monica Blvd (why there, I have no idea). Very strange. When U walk up 2 the east side.....it got a bit lonely. Nothin goin on. Why add it if there was no stage? who knows. But i am back once again 2 1 of my Fav thing 2 do in LA. I LOVE THIS FEST. Its the best thing 2 happen 2 LA. BUT.....this year was a bit vacant of people. I guess no 1 wants 2 fork over the 20$ entrance fee. WOW! remember when it was donations. Give what U want. I guess thats how it lost its charm 4 a bit. And now this new add on.....I guess.....I am just happy 2 B back here. BUT FCVK iTS HOT!I did not C any bands this time around. I wanted 2 C but I heard them from faraway and they sounded good (Arrested Development). Not bad. All we did was people watch (which we love 2 do). Sat down by Eat Well (not there anymore) and just watch the creatures of the day/nite. Thats why I love this fest. All types of people R here. The clash of evry culture is here on this strip. Thats what I love 2 C. Not the segregation that LA is known 4. This is the only time where we bump elbows w/1 anothr. nice. Hope 2 B here next year.

WOW! The 2nd Best Album of 2009!

I...can’t...stop...listening...2...this...ALBUM! This is a amazing album. U MUST GET! Highly suggest U stop reading this and get this album NOW! Enough said. The xx. xx.

He Was King...well, not on this album.

I have read sum reviews on this album and they have been good. As 4 me, it’s not 1 of his best 1’s. I loved the last 1 and they did not like the last 1 ( Virgo Blaktro & The Movie Disco ). That goes 2 show how different we R. The standout track R (well 4 me) “We All Wanna Be Prince”, “Plastik Fantastik” and “Spank U Very Much”. Those U gotta download. The others...R okay. But U gotta give it up 2 Felix. He is still around after the ElectroClash backlash. I guess it has never gone away.

HOCKEY (LiVE!)@the.ECHO

I actually get 2 C them this time around. Don't U hate that. When I was livin in NYCity, they where in town for 4 days and i did not got. I was ill. Then when i came back 2 LA, they just left when i arrived. DAM! and now.......i am here and what a great wait. They KiLLED iT! They do not have an album out yet and they just signed 2 a major label. CONGRATs 2 them. What a great band 2 C.......B4 SUNSET.JUNCTION festival. Oh.......this reminds me, I almost did not C this show. I wood of been @MASS @this time. BUT this year was a no go......BUT! the bands i wanted 2 C (like Hockey) while I was away......has not sold out. AWESUM! So any.......U have 2 check them out live. They surprised me. I loved that the lead singer (Benjamin Grubin) was all over the stage and very flamboyant. I thought this band was gonna bore me w/all the hype they have been gettin, but they did not. They had great energy and once again......no shirts. Cum on now.
