Today's show at Webster Hall is SOLD OUT!!!  It's a crazy rainy day today in the city and it feels good.  It's not to hot or cold, just perfect out. 
This time around, I did not check in my coat because it's a mission to get it when a show is over.  You really got to be on your game or people are gonna cut.  Plus, to check in just ONE coat here is $6.00.  That is just bananas.  I rather carry the dam thing. 

The first band went on and they felt like a 90's band with all that feed back.  I don't know who did the better singing, the guy or the girl, but some people did not mind it.  They where bopping to the music and a girl not to far away was singing along to every song (friend?).   

The second band (WATERS from San Francisco) was better.   They too sounded like a band from the 90's. So does that mean that 90's rock sound is coming back?  Since the sound of 90's early House and Techno is making a come back on todays dance music. 
Clap.Your.Hands.Say.Yeah where GREAT.  It helped to have visuals.  If they didn't, they would of not done so well.  When I saw them at Culture.Collide in October, they where just okay.   They just stood there and the crowd did the same.  They didn't play there hit song, "The Skin of My Yellow Country Teeth" that day, but they did tonight.  That song got everyone shaking and moving, to the point where you can feel the floor move.  It's a little scary if you think of it because it feels like it's going to collapse.  
Clap.Your.Hands.Say.Yeah came out with a FANTASTIC album this year called "Hysterical" (need to get).  That second album (Some Loud Thunder) just came and went.  I thought that was the end of them because I don't think they toured for that album.  So great that they went back to the studio and didn't break up.  If they had, the song "Hysterical"  wouldn't be on my Top.50.Songs.of.2011.
